Cherry Blossom Tea from Japan

Got a nice package today from my friend Tami (she is a great artist, check out her blog here).

Right now it is cherry blossom time in Japan. So she send me over a package of finest cherry blossom tea. It comes “wrapped” with salt, so it stays fresh.

You wash the salt out, take 3-4 cherry blossoms and pour hot water on it. Ready is your cherry blossom tea.

The taste is … um… special. Totally different than expected…
